I do apologize for not posting in a long time. I been busy getting to know my workplace, the area and how it is to be pretty much on my own.
I now work for a contracting company. This whole idea of a contracting company was new to me. Basically it means I'm paid by and get benefits from one but actually do work for another. I already knew someone working at the client's site (which is how I got my foot in the door).
The part of the company I work for (the client) creates systems that collect information from the power grid and and to make changes to the grid. My job is that of a Systems Integrator. The software involved with these systems, unlike the software you buy in the store, can be heavily customized to fit the client's needs and to work with the hardware and software that they have. It is the job of the Systems Integrator to bring together, or integrate (clever eh?), all off the changes from the norm into the final product and make sure it all works. This sometimes means going out to a client's site and tinkering with things on the spot.
Yes, I've avoided details about company names or locations. In such a public place it is unwise to disclose such information. If you would like to know more, get ahold of me directly.

Ooh avoiding details huh..... :-) You need to improve your food selection in your apartment, that is the only "detail" I would like to add. When I return I would like a little better food! ;-) Love ya bro!
Yeah, it has been that long!
